It Is Time to Go Solar

By going solar, you'll be saving time, saving money, and most importantly - saving our planet.

Why Go Solar?

Better for the Environment

Every kilowatt-hour of solar is equivalent to one cubic foot of coal.  One can also add in the fossil fuel for the equipment to dig it out of the ground and the additional fuel to haul it to power plants.  Every solar panel installed will go a long way toward reducing our carbon emissions.

Cost Cutting

Solar cuts utility costs immediately.  With net-metering, you use every kilowatt-hour you make.  During the day, solar offsets the power consumed and any excess power goes back to the grid.  The utility typically pays you at the cost they pay to their providers.  This is about half the cost of the retail rate you pay.  To save more, batteries can be added store your excess power so you can use it during the night and cloudy days to avoid paying the retail rate.

Increased Home Value

The investment in solar also increases the value of your home.  The extra value is usually not noticed until you sell your home.  Realtors have noticed an increased amount of homebuyers looking for homes that are equipped with solar.  Solar pays for itself over and over again.

Security

Our grid is getting old and dilapidated.  It will not be able to handle the new generation of electrical vehicles that are on the way.  We will experience far more blackouts and brownouts than we have in the past.

The grid is also vernable to attacks from domestic terrorists.  This activity has been occurring far too frequently.  It is time to take control of your own power needs to security and peace of mind.
