FLETCHER RESIDENCE
The Fletcher installation began with a 2.56 kW grid-tied, solar power system on the roof of the home. The newly constructed home makes use of the latest, high-efficiency HVAC, lighting and appliances allowing the modestly sized, roof-mounted system to power the home most days.
Mid-way through installation the homeowners learned of a previous installation by SWT Energy and loved the unique appearance and extreme practicality of a custom framed pergola structure with bi-facial solar panels. It wasn't long before engineered beams and footings were in place. The bifacial panels were compatible with the same Chilicon Micro-Inverters used on the roof allowing the output of both systems to be monitored from the same app.
Future plans include Tesla Powerwalls, a car charger and additional rooftop solar capacity to meet the needs of a growing family.
