JANE SNYDER TRAIL CENTER
The Jane Snyder Trail Center was completed in 2012 and serves as a hub for city trail users and houses a public meeting space, restrooms, Hub Cafe, and offices for a community health organization.
SWT Energy installed a ballasted, rooftop photovoltaic array composed of 18, 300 watt solar panels. The system exemplifies the city of Lincoln, Nebraska's commitment to sustainability and paid for with a grant from the Nebraska Environmental Trust.
The system was designed to be modular allowing for future expansion of additional solar panels on the upper portion of the roof to compliment the existing capacity.
