SunHusker Air Collector

This is the collector that started it all in 1978.  This collector was the top selling collector at the time and many are still installed and operating today.  This collector is unique.  It interlocks with other collectors to create an array independent from ductwork connections.  It is adaptable to allow several design capabilities.  Air movement is directed between the backside of the collector and a foil-faced insulating sheathing.  Air inlets and outlets can be spaced to avoid framing modifications.  Air passages can be incorporated in the wall design to reduce ductwork and interior finish costs.
This collector is best used for space heating when adapted to walls.  It is designed for latitudes between 40 to 48 degrees.  When the collectors are not installed vertically, installations will require extra attention to properly seal and flash the array.
